comment following Adam Priestlys blog on speeding
I found that story about a man seeing a dead child everywhere he went interesting, because I myself would never be able to forgive myself if I killed a child on the road, that’s why I don’t drive like an idiot. It would be the same for me if I killed that child, because I would never be able to get that sickening image out of my head, and it would follow me wherever I went. I agree that sometimes driving over the speed limit you can be confident that you are driving safe enough not to be putting anyone in danger, however I also agree that the speed limit is there for a reason like you said. I said I’m my blog also that people who drive have to be responsible for other peoples lives and not just their own, its just a shame that not everyone shares the same opinion as us in that respect.
